Dr. Marshall Field graduated with honors from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree and went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University. His clinical training included ocular disease and management at Hahnemann Medical Center in Philadelphia, contact lens care at Clompus and Reito in West Chester, Pennsylvania and Pediatrics and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. As a member of the Gold Key Honor society, he performed home eye care visits to residents in the Philadelphia area.
After graduating, Dr. Field moved to New Jersey where he started his practice in North Brunswick in 1993. In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, he excels in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the eye such as diabetes, hypertension and autoimmune disease. He treats eye infections, dry eye, glaucoma, and removes ocular foreign bodies and follows patients with macular degeneration.
Marshall is a fan of New York sports teams including the Jets, Mets and Rangers. He has been a staff writer for a NewYork Mets Blog for the past few years. In his spare time he enjoys going to games at Citi Field, Madison Square Garden and Met Life stadium. Marshall resides in Monmouth County with his wife and 2 children.
